Easter Digital Papers to Download
Combine the stickers with the Spring Simple Stripes digital papers, or any of Aunt Annie's Digital Papers for Easter and Spring, to make even more egg holders—checkout the Tips section to see how to make egg holders using stickers. Or use any of these digital papers to make Easter versions of Bookmark Greeting Cards.

Step 2: Color and Decorate

If you printed the black & white Easter Egg Holder pattern, use crayons, colored pencils or markers to color in the Easter designs. If you choose the Create Your Own or Dots patterns, draw designs of your own creation, or stamp the egg holders with rubberstamp images. Let your creativity flow. Try to make egg holder designs that enhance the Easter eggs that you plan to display.

Tip: Use pastel Easter colors. Color in the background also if you like. Do not color the bottom half of each pattern—it will be folded to the inside.

Step 3: Cut

The Easter Egg Holder pattern has three egg holders and ten stickers. Cut out each egg holder and sticker around its outside edge. Cut out Easter Egg Holders

Step 4: Make Holders
Glue and tape Easter Egg Holders

Fold each egg holder pattern lengthwise along the long center line with the design on the outside. Use your thumbnail to make a sharp, flat crease.

Open up the fold and apply glue all over one side of the holder. Press the sides together and smooth with your hand.

Form a ring and overlap the ends about ½" (1 cm) or more. Tape the ends together at the top and bottom edges with small pieces of tape. For the best fit, check the holder on an egg before taping the ends.

Tip: The Easter stickers may be used to cover the tape on the back of the egg holder.

Step 5: Display Your Eggs
Display Easter eggs with holders
  • Make as many holders as you need for your Easter eggs.
  • Place the fat end of a decorated Easter egg into an egg holder. A slightly tight fit will make the egg and holder steadier.
  • Use your eggs and holders for a table decoration with Easter basket grass spread around and between them.

That's it! You're done!
