Select the pattern for the box you want to make. Print the black and white (B&W) patterns on white or colored cardstock.
Print the colored patterns on white cardstock, but you may want to print something on the back—like the Red Mixed Dots digital papers or the Orange Orchid Stripes papers. This will add a colorful inside to the box.
These patterns for petal-top boxes are additions to the Hexagon Box craft project. See this craft project for detailed instructions on how to make hexagon boxes. Make the petal-top box like other hexagon boxes, except for closing the box's top. To close the top, fold each petal over, and behind the previous petal, in counter-clockwise sequence. Push down in the center to secure the top.
Patterns are Adobe PDF files. The Adobe Reader is available for free.
All of Aunt Annie's project patterns are designed to be printed on standard letter-size paper (8.5"x11" or A4). When printing from Adobe Reader, you may need to select Auto-Rotate and Center or Choose paper source by PDF page size to ensure the best fit.
